A little while ago the lovely Emerald tagged me for a well know meme that I may well have done before but I thought it would be interesting to do it again, without checking back first. See if I am at all capable of being random or if I'm thoroughly set in my ways. The challenge is to share seven random or weird facts.
I am tagging some people I know, some I don't know. As always, won't be offended if you don't participate. Usual rules, link to your tagees, tell them they've been tagged,
Kathleen - v talented lady
Julie from Little Cotton Rabbits - she's the Typepad featured blog this week, hurrah!
Sweet Jessie - lovely photographs
Flissy - she hasn't blogged so recently but I think that's because she's busy making lovely things for her Blythe dolls
Abi from Make It Up - one of my favourite people, and uber talented Tree Fall - more lovely stuff
Jessica - always shares the best stuff on her blog
- 1. I like painted toenails but not fingernails (weird)
- My lucky numbers are 1 and 7 (random)
- I have a short attention span for hobbies, which leads to 'all the gear no idea' - letterpress anyone? That reminds me, I nearly went to a tatting course today. Lucky escape really. (random)
- I'm still trying to fight my longing for flock wallpaper but it's becoming more difficult (weird)
- I'm more cautious that I'd ideally wish to be (random)
- The not being able to ride a bike thing is really starting to bug me (random) but I'm still unwilling to do anything to remedy it (weird)
- Lately I've developed a thing for pictures/paintings/rubberstamps of deer (random and weird)

Hello! Yay for being tagged! I will do this in the next couple of days after a period of rumination. I know I haven't blogged as much, but I have felt kinda flat after the initial surge of excitement of writing-up, and lacking in inspiration regarding what to blog. This will give me a focus! With you on the flocked wallpaper; can't believe you can't ride a bike (but then, I can ride one with no hands, which is kinda weird for a girl to do); and also dislike nail varnish on fingers *and* toes :)

Thanks for tagging me. I am a very strange lady, indeed, but I don't know if I can come up with 7 *more* strange things about me that anyone would find of interest. So I think I'll just tell you:
1. I only like odd numbers, 7 and 19 being my favorites.
2. I, too, only like to have my toenails painted. I always choose the same color at the nail salon. It's called Pompeii Purple, but it's not purple at all actually.
3. I talk to myself all the time, usually with an English accent.
4. I don't like to travel, not even to really beautiful places.
5. My main area of study in college was criminology - I would love love love to be a detective!
6. I eat ice cream almost every single day.
7. I eat almost everything out of a mug instead of a bowl - including ice cream.
xoxo

I am so with you on no.1, I really love painted toenails but find the feeling of nail varnish on my fingernails totally yuck.

woohoo! Thanks for tagging me! I will have to think of some random and or wierd facts. I do agree about the nail varnish - but I think it's just bitterness that my nails are quite roundy rather than long and I always have to keep em short for playing the piano. Therefore finger-nail-varnish is out of the question!
