Every time I walk into the kitchen, I wonder 'where is all the stuff gone?'
The Ethel fabric is now boxed and put away upstairs. (That room also needs to be cleared out but seriously, I'm not feeling up to that just yet...) In its place: all my paper patterns. Skirts, trousers, bags, tops - all on the to-do list. Which should keep me busy until about 2011. The red and white WIP that you may have caught a glimpse of last time is finished and ready to post - but as usual I forgot to photograph it.
Even the craft press was tidied - mind you, so was my ribbon box yesterday, which amused Helen no end. Wow, I really do have too much time on my hands. And yes, this qualifies as 'tidy' in my house.
Yesterday at knitting I suspected I was coming down with something - it's struck. Achey muscles and a cheese grater cough. I'm off to feel sorry for myself. Mostly I'm peeved that I don't feel up to going out tonight. And I'm even reluctant to knit, because I'm likely to foul it up even more - gaagh.
Gail! Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather. When you get to feeling better, we must go see a movie.
Happy knitting,
Jenny

Oh no! i'm missing the crafting meet too, due to a killer combination of getting soaked in the rain and having the contents of my wardrobe "resting" on the floor.
Feel better soon, I'll see you a week on Tuesday, and will bring the green sock yarn to let you have a look

Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope it doesn't last too long. Half my office is sick so there seem to be lots of bugs about.
I can't seem to leave a comment on the cat post so will comment here instead. Both look so cute. I'm a real cat lover but am not allowed pets in my flat. My Mum has one plus 4 strays though so that makes up for it. I love the wool trail. So naughty but when they look that cute it must be difficult to get cross. I suppose you'll have to start hiding the wool away.

Sorry you are not feeling too good, I hope you feel a little better now, how did the crafty meet go? I do that over here in France ten of us meet every Wednesday in my kitchen, for all sorts of crafting, we made lots of of gift bags this week, you can see what I mean if you look at whatkatiedid.typepad.
its 6.30, can't sleep, so I thought I would check in with my favorite blogs, its either that or finishing a painting, or finishing an art doll I am in the middle of.
Love your cats, I have five.
