These little creatures are occasionally spotted lurking on the bus shelter roof at various points along the 277 bus route to Islington. This is the most elaborate one so far, and the only one I've photographed reasonably successfully. Why [are they there] [would you do this]? To make people like me smile, I guess.
Is it some form of guerilla art? I love the gently subversive nature of these things (although that type looks downright spiky and I wouldn't be pleased to have one fall on me). I was obsessed for a while with sprinkling wildflower seeds in unexpected places. Just fun.

Ah, I love the wildflower seeds idea! Yes, I think these are made by someone and then chucked out the window of their flat - probably just as much of an art in getting them to stay there...
