How good of you to make such a beautiful new lint collector for your kitties :) They look beautiful on it.

Vitamin E might help stop the scarring of your hapless doctor.

My favourite arrogant medico quote is when a specialist repeatedly jabbed needles into my breast to get a biopsy sample said to the young medical student "this doesn't hurt" - I assured him that it did. Later I wished I'd thought to jab his testes to give him a similar experience so he could judge for himself!

My home state in Victoria is burning to the ground as I type this - a mix of tragedy and amazing survival being broadcast for the last 40 something hours. You might be able to stream it on http://www.abc.net.au/melbourne/

Ooooh, LOVE the quilt Gail -- it looks yummy! Sorry about the goofy Dr but I laughed at your telling of the story. I had a stitch once from a goober who said the same thing and YES, it does hurt!!! Hope you're feeling better today!

Hey, quilt and catties look fabulous!
Mole-hole I guess does not look so fabulous. Hmm. I think I might keep my annoying but not suspect mole after all, I don't want that incompetence on my face, thanks!
hope you feel better soon

Many years ago I had a suspect mole removed from my back at the local NHS hospital. Oh dear, it was the most revolting procedure I've ever encountered - I may have had a local anaesthetic but I could still sort of feel all the slicing and stitching - yukkity yuk!! Being a great 'fainter', I fainted - but having seen afterwards that the back of the gown was literally soaked in blood I'm not suprised I did. The scarring ended up being so bad it looked like I'd been shot - and subsequent doctors have offered to refer me to have the scar sorted on the NHS. No thanks, never again, I'll live with it. Oh, and I also had to walk about with a huge dressing on one shoulder blade that made me look like Quasimodo - nice!

Fab-u-lous quilt BTW, and equally fab kitty cats.

I'm glad you survived the scary doctor! sounds vicious... But the quilt is GORgeous and it looks like the critics have given it a two thumbs up!

Loving your bed sized quilt :)

Snap - had another biopsy on Friday myself. Never very fun. Hope the stitches aren't giving you any trouble.
